Believe it or not, some of the most accepted things in our society are actually the things that are most damaging to health.
There are of course more, but I wanted to focus today on the 4 things I believe to be the MOST toxic that we can ALL eliminate from our lives immediately. Because, of course there are things that are out of our control, which is why it’s essential we change the things we can control.
Here they are:
Artificial sweeteners
Like the ones you drop into coffee, or ingredients like Aspartame, Acesulfame potassium (Ace-K), Neotame and Saccharin that are added to “sugar free” drinks and foods. When I say they are one of the most toxic things in your diet, I’m not exaggerating; some of these sweeteners are known carcinogens.
A French study conducted in 2022 stated: “In this large cohort study, artificial sweeteners (especially aspartame and acesulfame-K), which are used in many food and beverage brands worldwide, were associated with increased cancer risk.” They are also neurotoxic and likely to be a catalyst for neurological or nerve conditions such as MS, Parkinson’s, ME, dementia etc, if the person is genetically predisposed. I highly recommend staying well away from any and all artificial sweeteners – cut any foods labelled “sugar free” and chose instead to substitute with a good quality honey or date syrup, and choose naturally low sugar foods.
Synthetic fragrances
Perfumes, body sprays, fragrance in cosmetics and laundry detergents, and the most potent – air fresheners. Up to 95 percent of chemicals used in synthetic fragrances are actually derived from petroleum (crude oil). They include benzene derivatives (carcinogenic), aldehydes, toluene and many other known toxic chemicals that are directly and indirectly linked to cancer, birth defects, central nervous system disorders and more. It’s not the mask wearing that will protect you from severe flus and chest issues, it’s removing synthetic fragrances (and boosting your immune system!), because your lungs are suffering each time you breathe in any synthetic fragrance. Ditch the air fresheners, plug-ins (the worst culprits), candles made with artificial fragrance, and any non-natural perfumes, cosmetics and home products. Opt instead of essential oils (I use essential oil rollers as perfume), natural laundry detergent, natural soy wax candles using EOs and all natural cosmetics and skincare.
Non-organic meat
What most people don’t realise is that all non-organic meat is reared on a cocktail of antibiotics, growth hormones, steroids, pesticide-filled grass at best, and non-organic foods that is unnatural for their diet at worst. When you consume non-organic meat (including Kosher or Halal), you consume every single one of those toxins each time, and over time, this builds up in the system, adding to toxic load. Choose organic, grass-fed, pasture-reared. Fear-based thinking
Thoughts hold vibration. Fear is one of the lowest frequencies on the Hawkins scale of consciousness, right next to guilt and shame. When you live in fear, you lower the energetic frequency of your own bioenergetic field, making you more susceptible to both physical and mental illness. This isn’t “woo woo nonsense”, it’s quantum physics. So take note!
