Masala Chai Turmeric Latte

 

I started drinking turmeric lattes after the arthritis flare-up I had after Brax was born, and created a pretty awesome invention by adding masala chai spice mix!

When Braxton goes down for his afternoon nap it’s always that time of day where I am desperate for something warm and sweet and just for me, and this really is a perfect hot drink to enjoy during the short amount of time I get to myself each day.

Give it a go, it’s so warming and healthy and also so good for you!

Ingredients

Mug full of milk of choice
1 tsp turmeric
Quarter sachet of masala chai spice mix OR.. 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Drop of maple syrup, date syrup or coconut palm sugar to sweeten

Method

Combine ingredients in a blender, then heat in a saucepan.

Adding the ingredients to the blender is optional, but makes it super creamy and frothy.

Drink and enjoy!
