I use this sauce for so many of my recipes from brownies to cookies and cakes. It’s a staple, and so easy to make. Once you have the ingredients you’ll whip this up so often. You can dip strawberries in and use it for fondu even!
Ingredients
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup cacao powder
3-4 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp cashew butter (you can use any nut butter but I find cashew is the creamiest)
You can also add a pinch of Himalayan salt if you fancy
Method
Put all ingredients in a saucepan and cook on a low heat, stirring quite regularly. If it’s too thick, add more coconut oil, if it’s too runny, add more cacao powder, and if you like it sweeter, add more maple.
Easy as that!
Love & health,
Lauren

YUM! I’ve been looking for a new twist on chocolate sauce – I am usually the one to stick to cacao, water, and a little bit of oil. This one sounds amazing!
