Breast thermography is a diagnostic tool that uses an infrared camera to produce a “thermogram” that can detect abnormal heat patterns that could suggest inflammation or cancer. Because of the nature of thermography, it can detect breast cancer cells in their earliest stages, making it a far more efficacious tool than mammography in breast cancer prevention, with far less radiation risk.
