Sunday Morning Smoothie Bowl

In our house on Sundays, it's either pancakes or smoothie bowls, depending on how cold we are! This week, Daniel brought home some beautiful dragon fruit, which is super high in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties, so I added it to the smoothie bowl for a superfood boost, as well as to make it even prettier as the colour is just incredible! If you're yet to make a smoothie bowl, they're super easy. Follow the instructions below... Ingredients (serves 2) 2 frozen bananas Half an apple, sliced and frozen 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1 banana 1 date 1/4 cup raw organic milk (or milk of choice - we're really into incorporating raw milk into our diets where we can) Superfoods of choice. I added: acai powder, maca powder, flax & Ancient & Brave protein powder Garnish options: Sliced banana, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, golden linseeds, mulberries, cacao nibs Method Blend all the main ingredients until smooth, then decorate with garnish ingredients of choice With love & health, Lauren
